Fermín Aldeguer will join the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team for the 2027 and 2028 seasons, the team has confirmed.
The Spaniard will leave Gresini Racing at the end of the 2026 season but remain within Ducati’s structure. He will become an official Ducati Corse rider and will compete with a factory Ducati Desmosedici GP.
Aldeguer joined Gresini in 2025 and won the Rookie of the Year title in his debut season, which also included his maiden premier-class victory. He is currently in his second season with the team.
His move to VR46 will therefore keep him with Ducati while giving him a new team for the next two seasons.
The deal makes Aldeguer the latest confirmed addition to the 2027 rider market, with his future now settled through the end of the 2028 season.
